Mid Season Form
Its been ~80 degrees here in Boston lately. AND ITS MARCH!!!!! How sweet is that? In the past five days, I’ve been able to pop about 250 miles of road riding which is great.
My arms and legs have turned a golden brown. The legs are smooth. My form feels right and I think I’m killing myself out there at the right level.

Hi-Viz
Not going to lie, this is a pretty sweet jersey from way back in the day. This is Euro-fluorescent before that craze took over cycling the past few seasons. In thinking about cyclocross in this area, I might have my good friend Sean just try a hi-viz version of our kit. Just to see how it would look - it would sure turn heads!

The Day After
Yesterday: 55 degrees, raced at Wells Ave, felt crushed on the subsequent ride with friends. Put in about 70 miles with a good chunk of those at 150%
Today: 70 degrees, “worked” outside all day with kids, then got home at 3:30 p.m. and decided to do 24 miles at a recovery pace, then I changed it to 40, then 50….and finally settled on 60.

Wells Ave #1 - 2012
As I said, road racing is what got me into cycling but as I’ve grown older it lost interest for me. However, I do have my competitive side. It’s always there, lingering. Giant
Finally! We made it down to the shop and got to talk to Seth, who is the main guy in charge of making the like of Giant to radsport. While we are still waiting on our paperwork, we are all but ready to get rolling with bikes. I’m really excited.
The best part about all this is that radsport doesn’t have to do anything it doesn’t want to. We are being supplied with a designer...
Kits
While I am the “godfather” of radsport cyclocross, I also happen to race road too. Amazing, right?! I’m not very good unless we are going uphill and I tend to have a fear of crashing due to some wrecks I’ve taken in the past. Regardless, I like going fast, attacking, and hearing the hum of the tires as they meet asphalt.

Intensity
By all accounts, I am a nice guy. Schools let me teach kids, fathers let me date their daughters, and ex-girlfriends that should hate me don’t always do. Part of this might come from my ability to be a wonderful bullshitter. The other is that I look fairly innocent; harmless, you may say.
